Terms & Conditions

Definitions
"User" means the person or entity using the website.
"Owner" means the company that owns the website, Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd
"Service Provider" means the company providing the website content management system and hosting services to the Owner for the website.
"Website" means "https://www.banksiaglen.com/"

Your account

Users must be 18 years or older to purchase through our website. Log in and password of your account are kept in a secure manner. You are liable for any person that uses your log in details to order our product(s). You agree that we may change order for you that have been ordered using your login and passwords through the site. 

Quoting/forwarding/copying any information from the website is not allowed unless you obtain our management’s approval.

Claims / Damages / Discrepancy / Returns 
All our products are of the highest quality and we stand behind every item we sell. Credit/refunds are not available if you change your mind. Please choose carefully when you purchase. Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd will gladly issue credit note if they are faulty or damaged in transit.   

 

Carefully sign the proof of delivery from the carrier driver, eg.do not sign full delivery if cartons shortage happens; do not sign “receive in good condition” if package is seen broken. Claim on shortage or broken or faulty must be reported clearly and directly to Banksia Glen International P/L head office with supporting photographs within seven calendar days of receipt.  All claims outside of this period will be at the discretion of Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd management. Credit note will be issued after items are returned back to our warehouse. 

No returns are acceptable without Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd prior approval and delivery instructions for transport. Freight will be charged.

Product (s)

Although we try to present correct item details & images, product may vary as we change the factory or improve the designs.

All items carry a manufacturer’s warranty against defects, however, please note: that the grain, shape & colour of an item may vary as some products are handmade and should not be misconstrued as a fault. Multiple items might show on the website as some products have mixed designs or colours, orders will be picked at random and you might not be able to require a specific variant.

Pricing 

Prices are in AUD, excluding GST and freight. Prices are subject to change without notice. Normally we’ll communicate with accurate quotation before proceeding the order. For customers in Australia a 10% GST (Goods & Services Tax) applies. 

 

Order

We may cancel any part of an order for products without any liability to you. In most cases, it happens if the products in that order are not available or there are pricing errors.

 

Payment Terms

Initial Transactions: Minimum purchase $250 excl GST, Pro-forma net, upfront payment is required. Approved Credit Account Holders - strictly 30 Days net from Date of Invoice.

 

Payment Method

Payment to be made by Electronic Funds Transfer, Visa, Bankcard, Mastercard, Australia Post Money Order, Bank Cheque or Cheque. Cash will be accepted only when goods are picked up from our head office. (Cash and Carry). Payment to be remitted against Invoice. Kindly quote invoice number as reference when making payment. We prefer EFT. Surcharges might apply to card transactions.

We do not issue monthly statements unless requested.

 

Freight & Delivery

Freight charges is not included in the cost of goods. Freight is charged on each invoice, the rate subject to our various carriers’ current rate for Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd. It’s Banksia Glen International P/L’s choice to choose the carrier. The freight cost is calculated on physical weight or cubic measurement, whichever is greater. Currently we only provide delivery within Australia.

Unless you provide an authorisation to leave carton(s) at the delivery address, if no one is present to accept delivery, an appropriate person must be there to accept the delivery of order. Otherwise, you’ll be liable for the re-delivery charge.

 

Application for Credit Account

Accepted at Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd discretion. Only Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd or GHA Credit Application forms (with original signature) will be considered. You agree to provide with and update current, complete and accurate details to requests by us.

 

Limit of Credit Account

Credit limit applied for by the customer is subject to approval by Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd

NO ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED WHICH WOULD CAUSE THE APPROVED CREDIT LIMIT TO BE EXCEEDED.

No orders will be shipped should there be unpaid invoice(s) more than 30 days.

IF THE APPROVED CREDIT LIMIT HAS ALREADY BEEN EXCEEDED, FURTHER ORDERS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE TO REDUCE OUTSTANDING INVOICES TO A LEVEL ACCEPTABLE TO Banksia Glen International Pty. Ltd. 

We reserve the right to take your unsold items if you are unable to pay your outstanding invoices.

 

Change of Ownership

Must be notified in writing, and a new Credit Application to be completed by the new owner/s.

 

Inactive Accounts

If an account has been inactive for a period exceeding 18 months, a new Credit Application will be required.

 

Additional Shops

Customers requiring more than one credit account must fully complete an additional Credit Application for each trading address; that is two shops require two Credit Applications.

 

Dishonoured Cheques

Will attract an accounting fee of $15 plus GST.

 

Overdue Accounts

Goods will not be supplied to overdue accounts until such time as the account is brought up to date. We reserve the right to withdraw Credit terms to overdue accounts. An interest charge of 2.5% per month will be incurred on overdue accounts.  Should your accounts exceed our trading terms and be passed over for collection, all cost including agencies commissions, solicitor fees and any out of pocket expenses are the liability of the customer.

  

Estimated Process/Delivery Time

While every effort will be made to deliver goods at the time requested when ordering, delivery is subject to possible changes in shipping schedules, strikes, carrier delays, etc. If you haven’t got response from us after a reasonable while, like a week, of your online order, feel free to contact us.

 

Property and Delivery of Goods

All goods are sold on ex-warehouse basis. Goods become the property of the purchaser only after the price of the goods has been paid in full. 

 

Right of Refusal

Banksia Glen International Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse service or credit.
